Mahoe should spear straight to the front of the small field. DAMIANO (4) was an overdue maiden winner here 3 starts back, and then, as so often happens, he won his next start before finishing less than a length from the winner in third back on this track last time out. Hard to beat again. STRINGLINE (5) has been battling to win a race, but her last few runs have not been too bad, and in a field like this, she is worth including in all top 4 combos. GREY INVADOR (6) will be peaking third up, and a positive ride is expected early on from his good draw. He might take some pegging back. TROSETTEE (3) is a durable veteran who will be close to his peak fitness now, and he is worth including in all top 4 combos. MAHOE (7) is out of form, but the small field will help him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Damiano can win this.
