Speed should be right on over the 900m journey. CRYSTALLIZE (1) finished second two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 2 lengths as public elect over 800m at Urawa. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is right in contention. HALF BLUE (4) saluted over 1200m at Ohi at her most recent appearance on December 26. Rates highly and should take some beating. SMOKE FLAVOR (7) went forward last start over 800m at Urawa and held on well for second, beaten a head. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. CUTIE ROMERA (8) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1000m at Funabashi, beaten 8 lengths. Worth another chance.
