Liveandletlive should lead and control the tempo. SMART AVENUE (7) steps up to 2000m for the first time today after going under in a photo finish as favourite last time out. He closed strongly there and it looks as though he's been asking for this trip for a while now. Finally gets it and with his upside, he can bounce back to winning ways. FORTUNE BOY (6) has won a trial since finishing 2.3L off the winner when back to 1800m last time out. He was impressive over this track and trip two back and draws a much better gate this time around. Can sit closer in the run and land the knockout blow. FAMILY JEWEL (5) closed nicely last start over the mile and steps back out to 2000m today. Bowman remains in the saddle and he shouldn't be too far back from the draw. Has placed here previously and can make his presence felt. AERODYNAMICS (4) is better than he showed last time out and can bounce back to his best.
