Expecting a solid pace with Choixway, Jay Dee and Imperialize leading the charge. MASAMUNE (1) drops right back in grade today after tackling Saturday company in both runs back this time in work. He rises in weight, but leading apprentice Nottle rides and she has options from the draw. Third-up now and looks the one to beat. GOOD VIBES (4) won well here fresh before finishing 3.5L away most recently. Needs a touch of luck from the barrier draw, but Riordan hops back on board after guiding her to victory first-up. Down in the weights and can play a leading role. PRECAST (9) has gone under narrowly his past couple, including as the equal favourite last start. Drawn better today and can make her presence felt. IMPERIALIZE (6) pulled up with an issue last start and is much better than he showed there. Can bounce back to his best. BACKCHATTING (7) will appreciate this easier level today and can be in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Masamune gets the nod.
