Sayono Fuji should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. KAI BRUNO (12) was far from disgraced when third last start over 1300m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Steps up a level but he is worth serious consideration. MADAM SCHIEFER (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only a neck from the winner at the end of 1300m after being in the firing line on the bend. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. NIMMARI (4) is a 19-start maiden who went close to shedding the tag last time when third over 1300m at this track. Yukihito Nagata stays on and although yet to win has been in the money on four occasions. Capable of running a bold race. SAYONO FUJI (7) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing ninth and beaten 9 lengths. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
