Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. PAPER MOON (10) resumed from a spell and only warmed up late, finishing fifth over 1050m, nearly 4 weeks ago. The extra 150m is the key this time, and with the advantage of the ace draw, she can take this out. HELLO MY DEAR (8) has been very consistent to date, and battled on well enough for fourth over 1400m at Waverley last start. She is better off over 1200m at this stage of her career, and she is good enough to win this. PORTRUSH (1) won a trial before finishing a sound second on debut at Tauherenikau 15 days ago. He is bred to improve with time, and a wet track won't hold him back. Stick with him. TICK TOCK TESSA (11) drops back from a last start third over 1400m at Tauherenikau just over a fortnight ago. She has a good gate, and she will be right in the finish again. SMALL FORT (5) makes his debut from a good gate with Craig Grylls on board. Follow the market.
