Strong pace from Sun Bringer, Pomme Verte and Trio, with Sol Naciente and Sound Evoke on their heels. SOL NACIENTE (6) is returning from a spell of four months. Finished fifth at Kyoto Dirt over 1800m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Toshimitsu Kunichi. Winning chance. POMME VERTE (9) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1400m at this track. Should be close to the speed despite the draw. Meets some better types this time but she has the ability to test this field. SUN BRINGER (10) went forward over 1400m at this track last time and held on for second. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. Has a strong record here at this journey with two wins from six starts. One of the main contenders. FILLMORE TESORO (5) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when ninth over 1400m at this track, beaten 11 lengths. Well placed and can make amends.
