Expecting Main Defender to take up the running with Winds Of Change and One Eye On Vegas close at hand. Strong race. ONE EYE ON VEGAS (8) turned in a strong run when fourth in the G1 SA Classic at this track over 1800m. Form over this journey is strong, boasting two wins from four starts. Faces a much easier essay this time. Sure to be there at the finish. TEXAS RED (4) has been thereabouts lately without being able to break through, the latest effort a third in the G1 Horse Chestnut Stakes at this track over 1600m. Sound record at this distance with four wins and six minor placings from 15 runs and is a leading contender. MAIN DEFENDER (2) has been below best form in two runs so far this campaign, the latest when fifth beaten by 5.5 lengths in the G1 Horse Chestnut Stakes at this track. Superb record course and distance with five wins and a placing from sux starts. Drops in grade and expected to go very well. CATS PAJAMAS (3) returns after a spell of ten weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1200m at Greyville. One to consider.
