Reasonable tempo with Noble Eiger probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. G T REINA (2) lines up for the first time since December 13. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1400m at this track. Has switched to the Motonori Mashima yard. Should be hard to stop. NOBLE EIGER (4) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just half a length away in second over 1400m at this track after being in contention all the way. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. RENEGADE (10) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1400m. Yukihito Nagata has registered four minor placings when on board. Has winning claims on best figures. NISHINO IKKI SASU (12) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest eighth at this track over 1400m. Expecting improvement.
