Solid tempo with Pastorale to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. MAGLIA IRIDATA (1) is a promising type who finished in the placings over 2000m at this track at her last appearance on January 12 which was the only run of that campaign. Has never been out of the placings first-up from five tries. Looks a cut above this field. ARITHMETIQUE (7) wound up strongly only to just miss when first-up as favourite last start over 2000m at Kokura. Sure to derive great benefit from that run. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. PASTORALE (8) did a fair job at his last run before going for a spell on January 31, finishing eighth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1800m at Tokyo. Capable of a bright return. ROGERLEY MINE (2) is a handy type who resumes after a break of 11 months. Only appeared once last prep when she finished 17th over 2000m in the G2 Sankei Sports Sho Flora Stakes (Japanese Oaks Trial) at Tokyo, beaten 8 lengths. Capable of a bold run while fresh.
