Shuffled back early and failed to get through the soft going with a fading seventh over 1400m at Kembla Grange. Has the class to take this out with a good tempo anticipated. PEWTER PEARL (2) capable filly who looks well placed in this company. In need of the run first-up with a battling fifth over 1000m at Kembla Grange. Anywhere near her best would be winning this. WINNIE FORTUNE (5) resumes from a lengthy break on her home track. Came to the end of her prep when fourth over 1200m at the Sapphire Coast last July. Back without a trial and has a good fresh record. CURLY BEND (6) mare resuming without a trial. Has placed previously first up from a break and will appreciate the weight drop today from the good draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cuban Rain and Pewter Pearl can fight it out.
