Genuine tempo anticipated with good speed engaged. PRIVY GARDEN (5) is a progressive mare who ended her last prep with a brace of wins. She has been placed in 3 of her 5 starts fresh up in the past, and has been tuned up with a recent trial. Use the market as your best guide. Can win. MALBOROUGH BAY (1) has been sharpened up with some recent jumping trials and is holding his form nicely. He benefits from a 4kg claim and should produce his usual honest effort. BARONET (6) ended getting too far back here last time out in a stronger grade, and failed to run on. He has Opie Bosson in the saddle this time and is expected to bounce straight back into the money at this more suitable level. MONEYPENNY (12) has come of age this prep and made it 2 wins from as many starts in this campaign when scoring by a head here 2 weeks ago. The extra furlong won't be an issue, and the hat-trick beckons. ORTEGA (14) was a somewhat fortuitous winner last start, but she has each-way claims in this as well.
