In the money at his only other second-up run. Fitter and sure to run well. DOGGED (7) is back from a spell of ten weeks. Closed last prep with a fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 2200m at Kyoto. Well placed and likely to feature. FIRE TRICK (10) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt after being in the firing line on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. BIG BELUGA (4) finished 4 lengths adrift in sixth last time at Hakodate in a disappointing performance. Better than that and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
