A keen early contest with Musashi Glory and Charmant Sien leading from Billie's Bounce. CHARMANT SIEN (10) is having his first run since January 25. Goes very well when fresh with four wins from six starts, the latest over 1400m at this track at the start of last prep. Key runner while fresh. SPLENDENTE (9) turned in a fair effort at this track over 1200m at her last run four-and-a-half months ago, finishing fourth and beaten 1.5 lengths. Yet to win first up but generally runs well with two minor placings from four tries. One of the genuine hopes in the race. DURO AVANTI (7) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out here, finishing fourth and beaten 1.3 lengths when he made late ground. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is all set to build on that latest effort. JUNE SHUTTLE (2) best of the rest.
