Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Bon Hombre. METEORITE (2) has been battling to find some worthwhile form but so are many of his rivals. He drops in class and will be kept busy with Tom Madden taking the ride this time. He has a good draw and this will be his best chance to put his best hoof forward. Include in all combinations at a price. ZAC'S BACK (5) ran a couple of good races early on in his last campaign before his form dropped away. He normally comes to hand quickly and is in the right sort of field to make a positive impact fresh up. Each-way. SOUTHERN NATIVE (3) settled well off the pace last start then made steady ground to finish sixth over 1600m at Swan Hill. In the mix.
