Highlands has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. KING OF ENTERPRISE (7) impressed when fresh from a four-month spell over this course and distance last start, stoking up late to be beaten a long neck. Won over 1400m here when second-up last prep. Clearly the testing material. AKICITA (3) stormed home to win first-up at Sale then never looked a hope over 1300m at Sandown last time. Very fit and back in grade so with a soft run from gate one he should prove tough to hold out. The consistent HIGHLANDS (6) did some work to find the front then tired late and finished third here at today's journey recently. Goes well for Mott who reunites. Will be in this for a long way. Ciaron Maher brings CAPITAL ASSET (1) south after some indifferent efforts in Sydney midweekers. Top three contender on his best form. MAUI MAN (4) is fitter for two runs back from a spell and needs this step up in distance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on King Of Enterprise.
