Plenty of pace from the outset with Big American and Conti Tohoku leading the charge. GOLDEN ALE (8) has hit a purple patch of form winning three of his past four here and is racing with a lot of confidence. Has to be included in calculations. SILENT BLACK (5) got a well-deserved victory over this track and trip last time out and will have come on with that win now in the locker. Looms as the main danger. BIG AMERICAN (3) got the job done here at the latest effort and drops back slightly in trip now. Will be hitting the line. CONTI TOHOKU (10) best of the rest in a race with only a handful of chances.
