Even tempo only with Big Swoop pushing forward from the outside gate in a race that lacks genuine early speed. MODELISTIC (2) stepped up to Saturday grade last start and never got into the race after settling at the back of the field. The form out of that race has worked out well though and she looks well placed back to this level. Drawn nicely for Brad Parnham and can return to winning ways. KEGGS LATER (6) was far too good over this trip on the Scarpside 9 days ago, running away to win by 2.6L. He's put up strong figures at his past two starts and while the draw is sticky, if he can hold his form today he should be right in the finish again. ZERA BLUE (13) has been winning in easier company but handled the rise in grade when behind Keggs Later most recently. While she is likely to be back in the run, her form is hard to knock and she can put herself in the finish. OCEAN RANGER (10) is better than he showed last time out when a beaten favourite and can bounce back to form. BIG SWOOP (3) comes through the Keggs Later race and has to be included. SUGGESTED PLAY: Modelistic gets the nod.
