Genuine tempo with Highland George and Lario leading the way. ROADCONE (1) is a handy type who ran well first up at Cranbourne over 1200m, beaten a long neck by an in form horse. He'll strip fitter for that, gets in quite well despite the top weight and should go awfully close - particularly after the race thins out with the scratchings. LARIO (5) resumes.
