Steps out to the 1400m for the first time after scoring a tough win with the 59.5kg when winning over 1250m at Gunnedah on May 26. Will hold a forward position and can win again. TOKYO STAR (13) is racing in career-best form and has the upside to play a leading role today. Up in trip when she launched late for a strong win over 1400m at Armidale on May 28. Maps well and looks up to this tougher assignment. SATAY CHICKEN (4) resumes after showing ability in stronger company last time in. Has a solid fresh record and looked to have plenty up the sleeve when second in a 1000m trial at Scone. Races best on his home track and look for him late. EDGE OF REWARD (1) will appreciate the firmer track today after jumping in grade when a disappointing last of 15 over 1600m in Midway grade at Randwick on June 8.
