Keen tempo headed by Knock Off. TISSE (3) motored home too late as favourite fresh up at Trentham and had to settle for second place, just a short-head back from the winner. He has an extra 100m to travel this time and should set the record straight. BRIDAL TRAIN (4) is a stablemate of the top pick and the likely main threat to that runner. She resumed with a solid effort fresh up at Te Rapa 4 weeks ago and is usually better with a run under her belt. Each way claims this time. KNOCK OFF (5) was heavily backed fresh up at Whanganui 4 weeks ago and delivered the goods with a powerful win by a length. He won his maiden here, and with 2.5kg less to carry this time, he could take the next step immediately. FOOTLOOSE (8) is a handy winter performer resuming from a spell. He won the latest of 2 trials and will be ready to rumble fresh up. Watch for any positive market moves. VIBRATION (7) overcame a wide draw to lead all the way at Otaki last time out. He is a very progressive gelding who is right in this. Go again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tisse to win in a very competitive contest.
