Opened with a third at Funabashi two starts back then landed the prize by 0.8 lengths as public elect last time out over 1500m at Funabashi. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. SHUTTLE TOSHO (9) comes here fresh from an all-the-way win by 1.5 lengths over today's journey at this track on March 5. Sure to take some stopping again. LOVIN' ROSES (5) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished second at this track two starts back then got the job done by 2.5 lengths last time out over 1500m at Funabashi. Likely to be in the finish again. BRILLIANT SPICA (2) won at this track and distance at her last outing three-and-a-half months ago. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
