Expecting a strong tempo with Snappy Tycoon, Du Clisson and Self Serve going forward ahead of Bon Shadow and Yam. MADAME MASERATI (10) resumed at Sandown-Hillside and didn't have the best of it when expected to need it. She brought compelling form to that and will be sharper today. She has the rails gate and sits at the bottom of the weights. Well placed to be winning. DU CLISSON (8) went well in a brief initial campaign, which included a big Maiden win on debut. She's looked sharp at the jumpouts, and Meech has been with her all along. She will be naturally improved and has a decent chance. SELF SERVE (6) jumped out well at Flemington and then was too good for the Warrnambool Maidens on debut. In good hands and is in the mix briefly freshened. SNAPPY TYCOON (1) draws the outside but is racing well and will be around the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Madame Maserati to win.
