Good pressure from the outset with Sure Intentions, The Glen and It Is To Be taking up the running over That A Boy and Dubai Centre. THE GLEN (9) stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by a head over 1400m at this track. Has to step up from maidens but keeps McDougall and will position forward. Looks the testing material again. CHEBICI (8) is a better hope than the form line suggests. Missed by 1L here in a 66 and hasn't had much luck the two since. Has the inside barrier and gives away starts, but he can be right up there if the splits come. SURE INTENTIONS (5) is a capable enough galloper on his day, better for the first-up run. Likes to ride the pace and the 2kg claim is handy. IT IS TO BE (4) is looking to break through after filling a minor placing at both starts this campaign, last time out when third over 1600m at Canberra. Can contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Glen can go on with it.
