SPIRIT OF NICAL (9) improved last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1600m at Durbanville. Well placed here and gets chance to break through. REDLIGHT LANE (2) was popular in betting last time out but after being in the firing line on the corner disappointed in finishing sixth over 1200m at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths. Among the top chances in what looks a most suitable race. BURNING DESIRE (1) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff she finished 12th over 1400m at Durbanville. Go well fresh. MON PAPILLON (4) is a two-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at this track. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat.
