They will run this along with Moanastar and Japingka taking it up over Cork Harbour. SANDBLAST (4) had to work too hard to find the early lead at Swan Hill when resuming there nearly 3 weeks ago and understandably faded out. He normally improves quickly with racing and jumps from a better draw this time. He has a superior gate and has also won on this track in the past. Dean Yendall takes the ride and the pair merit healthy respect. SANCTIMONIOUS (3) is a versatile veteran who mixes his form these days but put in one of his better efforts when finishing second at Bendigo nearly a fortnight ago. A repeat of that effort would take him close to winning this. TIMBOLTON (2) was heavily backed at Bendigo last time out and delivered the chocolates when getting up late out wide to score by over a length. This is no harder and he can double the dose. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sandblast each-way.
