Plenty of pace evident with Ripicola and The Blue Diamond leading the way from Ensign Jack and The Stolen One. LINDY MAY (13) has improved this prep, and she fought on well to finish fourth at Ashburton just over 3 weeks ago. Dropping back from 1400m to 1200m will suit her, and she can break through for an overdue maiden win in this. Follow your money. THE BLUE DIAMOND (9) folded up after setting the pace as the favourite at Ascot Park 8 days ago when failing to cope with the heavy track. He form was building nicely before that, and she can make amends in this. EXCLUDE (7) makes his debut and he hails from the powerful Anderton stable, who have a terrific record on their home track. This gelding will be ready to rumble. THE JURA (8) has the breeding, and he is another who will be spot on for a big run for his debut. Use the market at the best guide. ENSIGN JACK (2) has yet to fire his prep, but if the track is heavy, then a form reversal would not be a shock. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lindy May should go close to winning this.
