NEVIIM (1) is a very good fresh performer returning from a layoff of three months. Kicked off with a minor placing at Hanshin in a steeplechase when last in work. Solid top-three chance. ASAKUSA GENKI (5) is looking to improve on a last-start fifth in a G2 steeplechase (3930m) at Kyoto on May 17. Sure to make his presence felt. KNIGHT SPEAR (3) is a reliable jumper who was back to something like his best with a third in a steeplechase (3170m) at Kyoto last time out. Hard to beat if on his game.
