Genuine tempo with Nerano leading the way. NERANO (1) consistently runs good races. He has been racing at midweek level in town and finishing just behind the placings. If he handles the weight after the claim then he has to be right in the reckoning. UNDER THE PALAIS (10) is back up from NSW where she twice ran well. They were on heavy going so must monitor the conditions. MAPLE DOOR (9) chases three on trot over this very course and distance. A nice drop in weight for good measure. BETTER TOMORROW (4) has had a stellar preparation. Hard to knock a horse in this form. DRUNKEN SAILOR (8) heads north and if settled in will have to have admirers.
