Tricky one to map with a number of first starters but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. ONCEINABLUEMOON (10) should have finished closer to the winner on debut over 1000m on this course. She took time to find her feet and had to be switched late. She would have gained from the experience and will like the rise to 1160m. She should give the males a decent run for their money. LANNYBOY (9) was in need of his debut effort over this course and distance last start. He would have gained from the experience and should make the natural progression needed. ECHOES OF WAR (5) is an unraced son of Rafeef from the Fabian Habib stable with Gavin Lerena in the saddle. If not in need of the run, he should give a good account of himself. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances. BEST CANDIDATE (3) is a two-year-old colt on debut from the stable of Lucky Houdalakis. By Querari from Cantabella.
