Solid tempo with Rock A Hula Dancer pressing forward from an outside gate with Cisco Star not far away. ROCK A HULA DANCER (12) was fresh from an eight-month break last start and scored by 2.5 lengths at this track. Has a good record at this track with two wins and four minor placings. Masaaki Ohata who has scored on him twice retains the mount. Can play a big role. PROMESSA (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1500m at this track. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. YAMAKATSU RUN AWAY (10) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when second over 1400m at this track. Jumps from a wide gate but should be in the finish again. WIN CHARMANT (2) was sixth over 920m at this track two weeks ago. Better than recent efforts suggest and worth consideration here.
