Plenty of first starters engaged which makes for a tricky map. It is reasonable to assume a slick tempo over this sprint course. ENUFFON (4) resumed from a long spell at Swan Hill nearly 3 weeks ago and put in a big performance to finish fourth after having a very tough trip throughout when being trapped wide. She showed a lot of promise earlier in her career and with that recent run under her belt, she will be among the hardest to beat in this. DOUGIE'S DREAM (3) resumed in the same race as the top pick and kicked on strongly to finish second after leading. She will also improve with the run and could take them all the way around this circuit. WANTED IN A GUST (13) went along too hard in front at Swan Hill last time out and understandably faded out of it in the run for home. She will be suited by the drop back to 1000 metres and is worth another chance. Don't drop her just yet. LOU LOU'S CHOICE (6) beaten a neck into second at Werribee two starts ago then appeared at Seymour last time and finished fifth. Terrific chance to return to form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Enuffon to win.
