COCCOLARE (11) finished second last time over 1000m at this track to make it two minor placings on the trot, both at this distance. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Will prove tough to beat. SHONAN RALLY (12) made progress last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1000m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. LEIA POPO (6) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Fukushima Dirt 12 weeks ago. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Capable of testing this field. CARNOUSTIE (2) was below his best last time, finishing 11th and beaten 24 lengths over 1700m at this track. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
