Plenty of speed runners engaged, with Lamorak, Henningsen and Transient prominent. COSMO MAGALLANICA (9) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with success as public elect over 1600m at this track a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. HENNINGSEN (5) really dug deep to score by 1.5 lengths three runs back at this track before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Drawn to go forward. Best figures should see him run well. LAMORAK (1) proved too strong last start and scored by 0.8 lengths over 1600m at this track. Has nine wins here. Keita Nishi who has scored on him nine times retains the mount. Should be involved in the finish. SATONO EMPIRE (7) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fourth. Well placed to turn things around.
