Shinto Hanano Boss and Live Garnet to take up the running at a genuine tempo. VINA SAIGON (6) showed good speed over 1400m at Urawa and led throughout to score. Should be prominent again and expected to feature. SHINTO HANANO BOSS (9) last appeared two months ago over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt when he finished ninth. This is his first run for the Shoichi Hirata stable. Will be tuned-up for this and is expected to run well. A SHIN TURAN (3) has not won for a long while. Last raced on March 6 when beaten 6 lengths into fourth at this track over 1500m. Meets some better types this time but she has the ability to test this field. JUST A SPARK (10) settled well back at this course and distance last time but did find the line nicely to finish sixth, beaten 4 lengths. Solid top-three prospects.
