Solid tempo with The Big Man leading from Apo and D Legend. PEERLESS (2) proved too strong last start and scored by 1.5 lengths over 1200m at this track. Has a decent record at this track with two wins and three minor placings from nine starts. Can go on with it. D LEGEND (4) sat just off the speed and fought on well to finish second when resuming last start at this course and distance. Has a strong record here at this journey with three wins from seven starts. Sure to run well. APO (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 1200m at this track, beaten 6 lengths into sixth. The engagement of Yuki Yamanaka is noteworthy. Going up a level this time but he cannot be taken lightly. WAY COOL (8) ran a better race last start, finishing 5 lengths away in fifth over 1200m at this track. Well placed to turn things around.
