Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a solid tempo. HEIDI DANCER (8) was 3.5 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1000m at Sandown-Hillside last time following a minor placing on debut the run before. Bit disappointing last start, but did start fav in town, so might pay to give another chance down in grade. Speaking of chances, UNA GENTLE (10) has had plenty and looked the winner at times but still found one better. Hard to be too trusting but she rarely runs poorly and has to be included. PULL MY FINGER (1) seems to lack the killer punch but is rarely far away. GOLD THUNDER (6) hasn't been far away in recent events that look stronger than this on paper. Has to be in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Heidi Dancer to win.
