Good pace from Stampede Ahead, Rejuvenate and Matcha Mint. MATCHA MINT (2) challenged strongly over this distance at Greyville last time but found one too good on the day. She is back against her own sex and jumps from a good draw of two. Muzi Yeni is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her when it matters most. DAISY JONES (1) has produced two decent efforts to date. She stayed on well at the finish last time when finishing second of 13 at this track. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. She is a progressive type and she is one of the leading contenders. REJUVENATE (3) set the pace over 1400m on the polytrack last time and tried hard all the way to the line. Has each-way claims. STAMPEDE AHEAD (6) showed some signs of needing her debut run over 1400m on this course last start when finishing third of nine when well supported. Racing fitter has winning claims.
