TRACKSUIT DAVE (2) finished seventh two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1700m at Vaal, beaten only 1.3 lengths. Won only try this circuit and back a notch for this. Nicely placed to find winning ways. LONGSWORD (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a neck from the winner in second over 1400m at Vaal. Has the class to produce another positive result. ELUSIVE RED (3) finished third last time over 1400m at Vaal when resuming from a spell, beaten 1.5 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is one of the main contenders. LEGENDARY (4) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when seventh over 1160m at Turffontein Standside, beaten 7 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
