Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. ENCRYPTIX (2) has been kept fresh since racing on the speed for a solid second over 1100m at this track on April 25. Since kept up to the mark with a trial win over 1000m at Gosford. Winkers go on and finds a suitable race. LAST TOUR (5) at his top for this with the nose roll going on fourth-up. Tried hard with the 59kg for a respectable fourth over 1300m at Illawarra Grange. Among the chances with the 3kg claim from the good gate. TANNIN (12) well-bred Exceed And Excel two-year-old colt from Fitou on debut for the Michael Freedman yard. Has shown enough in the trials to suggest he can make a winning debut with Tommy Berry aboard. STABILITY (8) Zoustar gelding yet to fire in three career starts. Kept fresh after jumping in trip with a disappointing seventh over 1500m at Newcastle. Kept ticking over with a recent 1000m trial at Beaumont (Newcastle). Poorly drawn and can run into the minor money. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,5,12.
