Tempo strong with Hit Squad and Royal Maximus pushing forward. HIT SQUAD (19) was in the market first up at Kilmore and ran a solid race for fourth in what was his local debut. He'd shown ability in two runs in the UK prior to coming here and should take plenty of improvement from that effort. Tricky draw but rolls forward and gives a sight. COLIZZI (18) worked home well as a $3 chance first up off a short break at Geelong over 1700m and should strip fitter for that effort. He's another with a tricky draw but the ability to challenge. BULL RUN (2) is a lightly raced gelding who wasn't far away at his local debut here over 1300m which was always going to be short of his best, having debuted over 2414m in the UK. Expect quick improvement up in trip. TRUTH SEEKER (7) has been solid in two runs to date and has claims from ROYAL MAXIMUS (20) who should give a sight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hit Squad to win.
