A solid tempo on the cards with Damascus Gate heading them off. SQUEEZEBOX (1) relished the extra trip second-up with a fighting victory over 1400m at Illawarra Grange in C1 class. Ready for the 1600m after finishing runner-up in this grade last time in. Can keep the winning momentum going. IVY LEGEND (7) raced keenly throughout at her second run back with a fading last over 1900m at Canterbury on a heavy (8) surface. Has the talent to take care of this field if Berry can get her to settle early. INCEPTION (4) is proven at the 1600m and can bounce back quickly at his third run back. Raced on the speed second-up and never looked a genuine contender with the 58kg when a fading twelfth over 1400m at Newcastle. Winning rider goes back aboard and he looks to get a much better set-up. Improver. I AM WILD (6) just under five weeks between runs with a battling fifth over 1450m at Illawarra Grange. Regular rider hops back on and strips fitter out to his preferred trip.
