Anticipating good pressure with many of these lining up for the first time. VOSTOKOVA (3) returns for a third campaign off a four-month break. Went close to breaking through at the tail end of last prep, most recently going under narrowly as a $1.35 shot at Lismore. Trialling well and looks a fair bit better than these. CAUTIONARY TAIL (6) last appeared 20 weeks ago. Best run of the maiden campaign was a close fourth on debut over today's distance at Murwillumbah. In the mix with a repeat of that performance. MOTION A NATION (7) is back after a seven-month lay-off. Only raced twice in the maiden prep with a closing third over 1000m at this track on debut the pick of the runs. Should give a good account. LIFERAFT (4) is a first starter by Astern. Three siblings to race are all winners. Not far away in a recent Gold Coast trial so worth keeping safe. SILENT THINKER (1) is a newcomer by So You Think from a Fu Peg mare so he will get better in time over more ground. One for the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Vostokova should be too good for this field.
