Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Polygon Wave. HULM (8) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 4 lengths back in fourth over 1400m at Urawa. Rates highly and expected to go well. NASTY WEATHER (3) made progress last time out, finishing 4.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1400m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SEA SERPENT (4) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fourth over 1600m at Kawasaki four-and-a-half months ago. Worth plenty of thought. LOUIS (2) returns after a spell of five months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1200m at this track. Has a strong first-up record, scoring on two occasions from four runs. Has to be respected.
