SAGANO OUMASAN (8) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a second over 2000m at this track when beaten 1.3 lengths. Great chance to break through. WURDIG (12) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1800m. Will need a good ride from Wada Joji off the awkward draw. Likely improver with strong prospects. ALEALAMIA (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on May 18 when beaten 0.9 lengths into fourth at this track over 1800m. Placed to advantage so expect a better run this time. OSORNO (7) returns from a spell of four months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when 11th over 2860m at Kokura. Lining up today for the first time for trainer Masahiro Fukuda. Among the better hopes.
