Strong tempo with Party Punch, Frangipani and Rosy Lemon leading the charge. FALCONFLY (4) was popular when resuming last start over 1600m at Vaal but finished sixth, beaten 3 lengths. Has won here and course and distance placed. Fitter and looks a strong winning chance. APOSTROPHE (6) doesn't win out of turn but was in the finish last time when beaten half a length into third over 1800m at Vaal. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Overdue and will prove tough to beat. ROSY LEMON (5) was in the money two starts back at Turffontein Standside but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 2.75 lengths, at Vaal over 1800m. Finds a nice race and can atone. INSTANT ATTRACTION (9) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished second at Vaal two starts back then landed the prize by 2.25 lengths last time out over 2000m at Turffontein Standside. Nicely placed to make it two on the bounce.
