Should be prominent despite the awkward gate. Well placed and overdue for a win. Should prove hard to beat. PRINCESS ILARIA (4) finished 1.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1600m at Vaal, an improvement on her seventh at Vaal the run before. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. TRAIL RUNNER (7) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Vaal. Couldn't follow that up last time out when 12th over 1200m at Vaal, beaten 16 lengths. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SAKURA HANAMI (8) was beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 1200m at Vaal two weeks ago. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
