WIN ALICE (4) finished 2.75 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in the firing line on the bend over 1400m at this track, an improvement on her ninth at Nagoya the run before. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. A SHIN SALOMON (5) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 8 lengths when fourth in a 1580m contest at this track three weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CANTUTA (1) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1580m at this track, beaten 10 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Well placed and can make amends.
