Dawdling affair devoid of a pacemaker. FRIENDOFTHEDEVIL (4) has been mixing her form on the turf and poly tracks through the winter, and she will be suited dropping back to 1600m after failing to stay 2200m at Riccarton-synthetic just over 3 weeks ago. This field is very thin on exposed form, and we think this mare could finally break through for her first win. GO PRO (1) has fewer convictions than most in this field, and he could enjoy the switch from a poly surface to the turf here. Amber Riddell claims a kilo of his back, and the pair can figure in the top 4 here. SALACIA PRINCESS (5) has been freshened up since a last start modest effort at Riccarton on the poly there just over 5 weeks ago. She is having her first run from the in-form Meg Cunneen stable, and a form reversal would come as no surprise in this field. ABBELIRE (6) steps out to 1600m for the first time, and she can only improve on what she has shown thus far. Check the market for any positive leads.
