Strong pace from Firealley, Lanciafiamme and Zinovi, with Champion Warrior and Gold Giboski on their heels. Good race but sticking with the in-form ZINOVI (1), who lifted strongly to score last time this course and distance, making it four wins in succession. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Unbeaten this course and distance and likely to feature. GOLD GIBOSKI (5) is in great form, lifting strongly to score last start over 1250m at Durbanville to make it two in a row. Hard to knock and should go well again. LANCIAFIAMME (3) fought on well for third last start over 1600m at Fairview All Weather, making it two minor placings in a row. Marco V'rensburg who has four wins when partnering stays on. Certainly one to consider. FIREALLEY (2) produced another moderate effort last start when 2 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1400m at Fairview All Weather at the second run back from a spell. Nicely placed to find some form.
